Less Hate Here

Despite the disheartening loss I described earlier, the Indians came back to take the following two games from the Royals and win a series outright for only the 2nd time this season. It is amazing that it took a colossal collapse to prevent the Indians from sweeping the series. Good times.

I think the most uplifting sentiment was seeing someone else's bullpen completely implode. I'm good with Pavano really, especially since he has something like the 3rd most wins in the league (a bunch of guys are tied with 5 wins). In fact, he's already surpassed his single season total for wins with the Yankees (4 twice) and is now only 4 wins away from totaling all the wins in his 3 Yankee years. I think this is concrete proof that the Yankees don't spend enough to get good offensive production to pick up their pitchers.
